If you're going to shell out that much get a 975 based board!

How about the P5NSLI for $120? I just built an E6300 rig with one and so far the board seems impressive if you don't need all of the extra bells and whistles of the Deluxe.

I am beyond happy with my Gigabyte DS3... much cheaper then some other MBs out there, and OCs like crazy.

I'm liking the looks of this board. There was a review done on it recently, and it was compared to the giogabyte dq6. Supposably it oc's similarly. Worth a look, it must be fairly new, only 1 newegg review.

Foxconn, small company I personally wouldn't use them and risk having a bad board blow out your cpu, memory or any cards, etc....

Why use Foxconn when there is Abit, Asus, DFI, Epox, Gigabyte, Intel, MSI, and so many other tops brands, heck even BFG, Chaintech and Evga make boards, that I'd pick over a Foxconn.

Hmm it never amazes me why so many people would even consider tiny obscure companies and risk their systems, oh well. :(

Foxconn is the largest motherboard manufacturer in the world. However, the majority of the boards they produce are OEM for Dell, HP, etc...

Tiny and Obsure, Foxconn is not. Know your facts.

Old article but still relevant - http://www.hardwaresecrets.com/article/22

Foxconn sells more motherboards than all of the companies you listed combined.

edit - forgot to add, Foxconn actually manufacturers the majority of motherboards for those other motherboard companies.

Another vote here for the Gigabyte!! You can save even more with the GA 965p S3 just be sure to get the "P" NOT!! the "G" if you want to OC. There are limitations with the FSB speeds due to 965g chip limitations. The article on the Anandteck main page comparing the 965 and 975 is interesting as well, for me the 965 is not somthing to avoid.
