Core 2 Duo + Quake 4 DC Support = Crash?

I've already reinstalled Windows and deleted my quake4 configs, but whenever I enable Dual Core support the game locks up almost instantly after loading a map and trying to get back into the menu.

What gives?!
 
I guess you just suck because website reviewers have been using Q4 as a benchmark on the Conroe for weeks now. :laugh:

P.S. Please don't take offense, I am trying to be funny... my humor is sometimes lost....

Yea, that's what puzzled me 🙁 I really don't know what's up. I formatted when I got the Core2Duo so everything should be running great 🙁
 
Well, if no one else helps you figure this out I have my new mobo coming on tuesday and my new E6400 coming on wednesday and that will definitely be a game that is installed immediately so I will reply back with any fixes/answers I can offer then. Us Quake folks gotta stick together. 😉 :beer:
