Core 2 duo power requirements

I haven't built a rig since I built an athlon 64. 3000 Does the core2 duo (e6600) have any special power supply requirements or will a P4 atx power supply work? Ditto for the LGA775 motherboard- anthing special needed?

Most compatible motherboards will want a power supply with a 24-pin connector, instead of the older 20-pin connector. Other than that, not really. Core 2 Duo power requirements are actually pretty light.
