I have this wierd problem that I thought only occured when overclocked. Today it happen at stock speed. If I run my computer for a couple days straight 24 hours a day, the second core stops working in multithreaded apps. I never thought to run Orthos when I discovered this was happening before, but I did just now. When I reboot, everything goes back to normal. I would like to find out what the hell is causing this. Anyway, I ran Orthos and I got the following error message: Affinity Mask: Process: 0x1 Sys: 0x3.

Reinstall windows. It is just a problem that happens in XP sometimes where it can't set affinity for a system process to the second processor rather logical or not. Your Windows installed got buggered somehow. You can search google or technet I know it comes up with a Q# but I am lazy 🙁.

i reinstalled windows and it still happens. i even used windows xp pro instead of just plain xp and it made no difference.
