Hi,

I've got a deal here in India where the Core 2 duo 6300 is INR 8900 or around USD 198 and the Allendale 4300 is also the same price. I guess with a DDR2 800(or DDR2 667 memory overclocked to DDR800 levels) memory+FSB, I can get almost 100% overclock to around 3.6 GHZ. I can get Antec coolers here, so if stock HSF isn't enough, I can get a better cooler from Antec. So, suggest a good cooler if any of you think its necessary.

As for RAM, only DDR2 667(1 GB at USD 102) and DDR-800(1 GB at 132) from Transcend are available. Let me know, if Transcend DDR2 667 can be run at DDR2 800 speeds. Motherboard is GA-965P-DS3 which seems to run at 800 FSB pretty easily.

Let me know, if I can reach my target of minimum of 3.2 GHZ with this setup.

I'm sorry, I have no idea what the hell you're asking.

Oh, you want a recommendation for heatsink and fan?

OK, I recommend this......

Please note: I know absolutely nothing about the latest generation of Pentium Processors and have avoided Intel ever since AMD introduced their Slot A CPU's.
So it is in your best interest to completely ignore everything I say.

Thanks for the HSF suggestion. The other thing I wanted to know about is whether Transcend JetRam DDR2 667 can also run at DDR2 800 speeds?
