A small blurb about possible delay, here.

In a way I wouldn't be surprised, but man that would suck. I was going to wait, but if this is true I might as well just go AMD.

Yeah not surprising...especially cause I was waiting for one....

I bet since they saw AMD's "no" answer to Conroe with AM2 they should delay a bit and make sure the launch is perfect.....

I may have to buy something else in the meantime to mess around with.....I would like to see some good confirmed conroe ready boards to hit now so that way I can mess around with a core duo chip and still be ready to go....

I been waiting for a year now. I still am on my Intel 2.4, which has served me well. I would even take a shot again with Intel if they had some decent Conroe boards out. But looks like I going to take the bandwidth for now ;) and wait on 65mm and K8L. I have been scoping the core duo, but the aopen board's future is a little suspect. Great prices on video cards right now too.

No delay, but don't expect Fry's to be fully stocked with boxed Conroe CPU's on the launch date.

The article was probably trying to say that there's always a delay from launch to when the channel is fully stocked/ramped up.
