GF is looking for a sewing machine do small fixes...

Huh. If I do a search for item 17726, it comes up as "decorative star wall hangings". The machine has two item numbers in it's description, though, and can be found by searching for 46574 - perhaps one is the model number and the other is the stock number?

Anyway, does anybody have any experience with these things? I need a simple machine for repairing seams and that kind of thing - tailoring gets expensive in NYC!

Picked one up like this one at Target B&M on the clearance rack for under $10. LevcoS..Worked well (IMHO) for simple repairs but you need to practice with it to get the hang of using it. Sure beats dragging out the big Singer Sewing machine...good luck!!!

I believe Jokersmoker is referring to the Easy Sew Cordless Sewing Machine. He probably forgot to specify that the item number he mentioned should have been used in the "Seach by product/brand name" search field, and not the "Search by internet item #" search field. (Yeah, I know, it doesn't makes sense to me either.) There's also the Sew Smart Lightweight Sewing Machine, also for $9.99, and the Handy Stitch Handheld Sewing Machine for $4.99.
