Cordless phones

I am trying to buy a cordless phone but I am realy having such a hard time cause there are soo many out there, I like VTEch cause i have one at home but I don't remember the model. But I am trying to find reviews on the phones etc... or even recommandations anybody know of a forum better than anandtech where they only talk about phones??

I've personally have had bad experiences with VTech phones. Last ones I've owned gave me a lot of static and poor reception. I currently use a Panasonic cordless phone, and it is very clear. I highly recommend their phones.

panasonic, i have one now its called the Panasonic Gigarange extreme or something like that but the reception and clearity are excellent. I can actually go to my neighbors house, with my phone,(leaving the base station at my house) and call people. The houses are about a 100 yards apart.

I am almost a fanatic about my phones. Over the years I've used several brands and the overall winner has always been Uniden. They are clear, hold up well and the battery life has been among the best I've seen. I haven't moved to the giga-range yet. The DSS phones are still good enough for the short distances that I use my phones for. I would expect\hope Uniden's latest phones to continue the same trend.

Also.. they have a website where you can purchse reconditioned phones at a great price. I've bought several from the site and they have all been perfect.
