cordless phone batt. how do you make one?

i have a uniden cordless phone, works great, got it at the sears price match/mistake add last year or the year before, walmart dont have the batt. Anyway I looked at it, it lookes like 3AA batts. my rechargeable batts are 1.2v each, I was thinking about just putting one together myself, any ideas?

This isn't worth your time. Make a visit to Radio Shack and pony up the $20 bucks
