I just got a 2.4Ghz cordless phone set (3 base stations and cordless phones) but found a lot of static when in use. I thought it was my wireless router (also at 2.4Ghz) so I switched to a Panasonic cordless set at 5.8Ghz. Same problem with the static :(

I never had this issue before with my old 900Mhz cordless. I tried my new sets (both 2.4 and 5.8) with the router powere off, and I still had the static problem.

So I'm confused. Any thoughts on what could be causing the interference? These are CAT5 lines, and so it shares phone and DSL...

Thanks

Wow... just called SBC. After staying on hold for 10 minutes, they said they can't send out free replacements but would charge $13.95 per filter.

Ridiculous. Looks like I'll be stopping by Fry's after work...
