Cordless keyboard only (not combo)

Do they exist?
I really want a cordless keyboard and mouse but for the mouse I want the G7. Are there any cordless keyboards out there that is just the cordless keyboard with no mouse? Or can I get a cordless keyboard and detach the mouse somehow?

They exist but only thorugh a specific google search. You could always get a cheap wireless keyboard/mouse and not use the mouse, I think that should work. Don't quote me on that.

Can anyone confirm that I can do this? if so, would the 2.4ghz band of the wireless keyboard interfere with the 2.4ghz band of the G7?

I use only the KB of my cordless KB/mouse combo. Don't know about interference.

if your combo keyboard is gonna be a logitech, and the g7 is a logitech(i think) then the reciever should be able to use ur mouse. But higher functions might not be accessible.

You may have the two recievers on different sides of the table. that way u may have a better signal. Wont know until someone who has tried it say something. or you can try it urself.

not sure if I am understanding what you really want, but cant you use a bluetooth wireless keyboard and bluetooth wireless mouse ?

I'm currently using only the keyboard part of Microsoft's Wireless Optical Desktop Pro, since I wanted a wireless ergonomic-split keyboard, and this combo was the only way to get that combination of features (split keyboards are hard to find, and the few there are besides this one are wired). I am also using the Logitech MX1000 mouse. These work perfectly fine together, even with both receivers sitting right next to each other beside my monitor. I'm not sure if there would be issues using a keyboard and mouse of the same brand. All the wireless input devices I've seen have multiple channels, though, so you should be able to find a setting that works.

i'm loooking for a good wireless keyboard as well.

seems like the g15 is almost impossible to find unless you go to BB brick and mortar but it's way too expensive
