i just won an auction for this:
http://www.logitech.com/cf/products/productoverview.cfm/15
and i use two machines through a kvm switch..one is a windows machine which i know can utilize the software this package comes with, and the other is my linux box named lucy. I's like to know if anyone has had expirience with a cordless kb/mouse in linux and hopefully i will be able to use this with Lucy.

thanks for any help!!

While I have no knowledge of Linux I'm pretty sure the answer is yes.

You can use the board and mouse without their software as they are both recognized during boot before the OS kicks in.

So give it a try, you will lose some of the extra functionality that these two offer, but it's nothing to cry about.

BTW, I have three sets of these cordlesses(sp?)

I have the Logitech cordless mouse/keyboard and they work fine with Linux. As a matter of fact you don't have to install Logitech drivers in MS or Linux OS's for the combo to work. I'm running Win2K using the MS generic keyboard/mouse drivers just fine. The only thing I don't have is the battery meters for the devices. This is not a problem because it is easy to tell when they are going bad.
