I was just wondering how the cord on that mouse is, for anyone who uses it regularly. The cord on my dern MS Optical Wheel Mouse is very annoying; it's stiff and seems to want to drag my entire mouse off the table.

Seems alright for me; it's fairly flexible, but the mouse does glide pretty easily; it's got nice little friction-reducing feet on it. The wire hung over the keyboard tray, and it kept feeling like a bug was on my leg, so I just secured the wire to the desk with a twist-tie. I don't remember it ever trying to drag the mouse off the table. However, it did once try to drag the entire PC out the door on its own and steal my car; I think that's a driver issue. (just came from the Off Topic forum, sorry:D)

As is usually the case w/ Logitech mice, the cord works fine and doesn't affect mouse operation.

I wouldn't mind having a cordless but I read they simply aren't as good for gaming and are heavy, and I haven't had any complaints w/ MouseMan corded mice so why change now? I'm not a longtime Logitech user (as they've been around 15 years or more) but I have now used about 5 generations of Logitech mice with no regrets. They never fail; they just get too dirty & are replaced.

Currently using the MouseMan DO. The only "issue" I experienced was the tracking in Counter Strike "felt" different from the tracking I had gotten w/ the first-gen (blue) Optical MouseMan. Not necessarily better or worse, but different. I think I'd get better results if I installed Logitech's drivers, but for now I'm sticking w/ WXP built-in drivers and have already gotten accustomed to the different tracking in C-S, for better or worse.
