Hi,

Just wondering if anyone out there knows what program, or combination of programs (ie Nero + Winzip etc) are available to allow me to copy or span a single large (2.56GB file - compressed) onto one CD. This is not a movie or anything, it's a VERY large Photoshop PSD for a friend of mine who is a Graphics Designer and works with PCs (not the dreaded Mac!)

Any help would be MUCH appreciated!

I don't know about compressing it that much (good luck) but you could download winrar, put all your things in an archive, and tell it to split at 703 MB each and then just burn 4 cds, copy the backup1.rar, backup2.rar etc to a directory, double click one of them, and then you'd be set.

Get WinRAR. You can set it to span at any size. Useful! Also RAR is one of the better compression formats out there.

I third winrar, great compression and file spanning capabilities make it hundreds times better than winzip
