Copying songs off of Ipod For vista

I have searched and found a couple programs, but the only thing ireally need is to copy the songs off my ipod onto my pc, and i want to do it for free if possible. i have found some programs to pay for. My laptop crashed and i have 10gigs of music that i dont want to have to find/load again. Is there any way this is possible? thank you for your time.
