Copying part of a Movie

I wonder if there's any program out there that let you copy a scene on a dvd. Not the entire dvd. but just a particular scene.

Probably, but if I were going to do that I'd just rip the whole movie and then cut out the scene(s) I wanted. There's a lot of help available on ripping dvd movies (for backup purposes only, of course). www.doom9.org is a good start.

Easily. Open up Avid, find the scene or the time stamp when the scene begins. Then just copy/paste into another layer. Convert to whatever you want and save!
