I'm trying to make up a backup copy of madden 2004 for pc and it is not working. I drag each file from every folder seperately onto my burning application. Does anyone know a way to do this, or have gotten it to work??

I rember the days when it was that easy to copy a game. Drag and drop.

Today things are a little more complicated since there are various copy protection schemes.

Go to game copy world. I am sure you can obtain a newbie guide to BACKING UP GAMES.

good luck

try CloneCD ... for me it seemed to go over a lot of the copyright protections and CD's that didnt work in other programs worked in cloneCD with just using 'copy cd'

if you are lucky and have one of those writers that are able to write sd2 copy protected discs then
the easieast way is to use clonecd or alcohol.

but there are settings to set for this to work properly.

Thanks for all the help!! I tried clonecd and alcohol but they didn't work. The game is protected by a sv2 copywrite. So I went to game copy world and I downloaded a utility that is supposed to get rid of the copywrite.

I use Nero...
I set all the properties to "user defined" in Nero 6 and set it to write uncorrected and all that crap. it will copy it for sure. I've always used Nero for backups... never a problem.

do a google search for clonce cd database. I have use that in conjunction with clonce CD to burn everything from ps1 games to PC games. It has the ability to detect the protection scheme and apply the correct settings in clonecd to burn the disc.

Good luck

Mitch
