When i try copying a vcd and Rarely sometimes when i compile a cd it says "Calibration area full" i tried Nero and CloneCD and both of them said the same thing. Some suggestions i got were to use a different brand of cd-r . And i tried it though it still said that. I am trying to COPY many vcd's but it still said the same thing. I am using a ATAPI 52x24x52x CD-RW. Also if u have the time can anyone tell me what it even means?

Quote from Nero support - it is possible that the APM (Energy saving mode) causes this error.
Please deactivate the energy saving mode.

Other probabilities are vibrations causing the lens not to track or a dirty lens, PSU not giving enough power.

EDIT: Have you tried writing at a slower speed like 16x? Slower speeds are great for compatibility problems with DVD players, etc probably because they track more precisely than something flying by at 52x.
