Problem: RedHat install fails because it cannot find a file on the CD. The CD is directly from a Linux book that I have. They are probably not 100% best quality CD's. The reading device is my laptops' CD-ROM which is no desktop Plextor with regards to being able to compensate and read any kind of CD well.
So I tried doing a CD copy from EasyCD but now the install stops at a different point with the new CD, so I think the CD-R media is not of the best quality either, so I am going to try a different brand. But, I thought to help out a bit more, I would copy the contents of the original CD and then burn a new CD based on those files. I am wondering what would not be the same?
