Copy T-shirt print to another shirt?

I was at a place recently that was closing for good, and the only T-shirts they had left were 2XL, but I wear a Large. I went ahead and bought one, since even if I couldn't ever wear it, I wanted to have one (maybe frame it). Is there somewhere that will copy the print (shirt is white) to smaller shirt for me? The people selling didn't care about copyright and said surely I could find a way to copy it. I know I can probably buy the stuff to do it myself, but I'd really like to have it professionally done.

Maybe try to scan it? Then you can take the image to any print shop and they will print it on a shirt for you.

That was my last hope. I don't have a good scanner.

What scanner do you have Slickone? Your scanner might have the resolution you need hidden in the s/w settings 🙂

Scan it, clean it, print it.

UMAX scanners are solid, you will get the best result if you stretch the t-shirt on a piece of cardbord.

Yeah, i have done it.

Is that 2100U SCSI? i had Umax scanner that got killed in an accident involving a girl, tequila and stupidity.

I scanned a shirt that I had to retire, then printed it out and cut it to fit as a clock face. It hangs in my den. I kept some of the rips and the fabric texture, it looks pretty good.

if you scan it and print out an iron on... well it's gonna suck. Maybe cafepress can print it up a copy for you if you end up with a good copy. Screen printing is the way to go with t-shirts.

What kind of image is it?
Not sure what you're asking, besides what's in the OP?

I'm asking basically, if you were to find this picture on the Internet, would it be a GIF or a JPEG? Because one would be a lot easier to clean up after scanning than the other.

I'm also wondering what the design is because maybe someone could find it on the Internet and your problem of scanning it would be solved.

I'm not sure how I would know if it's a GIF or JPEG on the internet since I've never seen it on the internet, except for ebay auctions, but they're marked. As per the OP, I have the shirt myself.
It's this shirt.
