Copy-Paste from camera isn't working...

I have my Canon Rebel XT plugged into my computer via USB cable, as always, but this time it seems it doesn't want to copy-paste over to the computer...I select the files I want, press ctrl+C, go to the folder I want, press ctrl+V but nothing happens. Same thing when I try to select "Copy this file" from the sidebar on the left. Doesn't matter if I select one file or all the files. Doesn't matter what folder I go to. What the hell is going on...the only way I can transfer pics is via the Windows Picture Wizard or whatever, which is a serious bitch. Can someone help me out?
 
Update: It works if I copy-paste to a Word document or a MS Paint file, but it's not working through Windows Explorer...
