I was able to get my hands on a pirated Diablo 2 from overseas, but have been unable to get it to work. It says to copy crack file to main file after install. How do you go about doing that? I don't need the activation code since I think that has been cracked for me, just need to copy the file I'm talking about to main file. Then when I have the play disc in the CDROM it says <<CDROM error please make sure Diablo 2 play disk is in your CDROM drive>>

Guess the Nasdaq isn't making you enough to actually pay for Diablo 2? Hell it's only $30 bucks at BestBuy...

I really wanted an answer to that too. I have a game for my daughter, but the cd isn't working. I was able to copy the files to my hard drive but now it asks for the disk. This is an old Reader Rabbit game and I don't think they sell it anymore, but I have all the little books that came with it, so I would love to know how to make it work without the broken disk!

Go out and pick it up, NasdaqTrader889. It's cheap and well worth it.

Posts like that aren't welcome here.

Post like what? I though this was still America, like I said WAS! Lest I forget that this AT land where I have no freedoms.

Let word it in a different way.......
I have purchased a software product overseas with the activation code locked for the purpose ease of use. For some reason the instruction manual states that I must copy a "cracked" file to the main file. I assume the it's cracked because it's been broken or something. Excuse me for being so naive about everything but I'm new to this Internet and computer stuff. Iwould go to one of those fancy computer stores but I'm just intiminated by those sales people-they are all so assertive. And besides I'm not exactly a legal citizen in your wonderful anandtech land if you know what I mean.

Better Santiago?

There really is no tolerance for pirated software on this BB. You won't get help now, you already told everyone you pirate software.

No, it's not better. You gave up your right to free speech here the moment you logged in. Run up and down the sidewalk outside your house and scream that you love pirating software day and night if you want to--you've got every right to do that. When you're here, you're going to follow the policies that you agreed to when you signed up. That includes no talk of piracy. You've come off as rude, arrogant, condescending, and annoying. Now stop making excuses, go away, and stop wasting our time.
