Copy a Recovery Drive

Hi
Not sure where to post this so I thought here would be a good start.
Daughter gave me her laptop/tablet to register, create a restore, recovery disk, update, etc.
I am in the process of creating the recovery usb. My question is,,, since those usb drives can easily get lost, once the recovery usb is finished burning,,, can I copy that and keep a second one in a different location as a spare???
Or simply put,,, can that recovery usb be copied for extra spares???
Thanks

You can make a ISO of said USB drive, and copy it where ever you want. It is called cloning. Then, you can 'burn' the ISO to another USB drive, or DVD, or CD or...
You can use this to do it: http://www.imgburn.com/ (free), or ...

Why not clone the installation with something like Acronis or Clonezilla and then store the archive file on your storage drive?
