They hardly deserved to be suspended for 60 days. They'll probably lose their childrens' health insurance during that time too. What they did was harmless. The punishment does not fit the "crime". The majority of guys I know (and myself) goof off to a similar degree if the occasion permits. What they had was a case of bad timing. What they did was morally and ethically neutral.

You and others who responded to this thread similarly are wrong. The police had absolutely no right to do what they did and received a fair punishment. This woman obviously has some problems, and the job of the police is to help her, not aggravate her.

But what concerns me is how all these people that ATTEMPT suicide fail. I mean, they call loved ones telling them what they are doing, they sit on bridges or buildings until someone talks to them......and on and on. ;)
And what is the dumb attemptee pretending to be unconcious for? Faking, embarassed?

I agree. Officers should be given pamphlets to hand out on proper procedure, and maybe even allowed to assist these folks. With government taking Darwinism out of the way, we need something to weed emotional instability out of the gene pool. Just imagine how much safer the world would be if people who tended to extreme mood swings were allowed to kill themselves before they or their offspring become a danger to others?

WTF? Why the hell was she pretending to be unconscious or asleep?

A good point!

received 60-hour suspensions worth about $1,900 in pay

How devastating!!! ;)...although not good for your record...especially if it had specifics!

"Officer #1 assumed a squatted position, placing his anus within a 4 inch proximity of the victim's sinus cavity, and then applied pressure to his sphincter which forced an expulsion of fecal gas from his rectum in the direction of the victim's breathing space."

You mean that kind of specifics? :Q

LMFAO!! :D
