Nobody has the liberty to vandalize public property unless they want to be charged for it ;-)

See people this is why you stay in school, so you are not the idiot trying to quote the constitution about something that is not there. Unless someone can show me where defacing someone else?s property is in it?

I hate people that stick things to light poles and even the signs on the road. I wish cities would go after them more. I have taken signs up at intersections as some of them do block some view at 4 ways.

Cuffing him and slamming him onto the hood of a car? Why? Was he violent, or resisting arrest? Need more information.

Anyways, if there's a local ordinance prohibiting posting on those locations, that's the end of it for him.

He probably doesn't have the right to post those on public signs, but on light poles and stuff, I can't really see that being illegal. Its certainly not vandalism as the term is often thought of. Still, I can understand why people would be upset with his signs. That said, I don't think the cops have any right to handcuff him or physically handle him in anyway, if anything a ticket should just be given out. Although, who knows if we are getting the whole story here either.

It is obvious he is somewhat of an anarchist punk.. no telling what he said to the cops.. I am sure he was as polite and respectful as can be...

Would he have been given the same treatment if he was putting up posters about a lost dog? If the answer is yes, the punishment is just.

Would his posters of his lost dog be done to purposely cause a public disturbance..

Point taken, but at the same time the point of the message shouldn't make a big difference, within reason. Are controversial subjects not allowed on posters, but other things are? Where do you draw the line?

don't matter. he has the right to free speech as lon as he is not doing anything like defacing property.

IF someone putting up a garage sale sign would get in as much trouble then fine. but they won't. hopefully he fights it an swins.

IF he is putting the on private property he needs to lose on that.

The Obama/Joker thing isn't very thoughtful as humor or commentary, but I'm consistent; wheat-pasting posters isn't a big deal, and I don't want to see dumb young leftist vandals treated like this dumb young conservative was.

Would he be allowed to put up posters of aborted fetuses? Should we hang Abu Graib pics and Bush with a hitler 'stache posters? No. You want to hang political signs, do it on your own property.

And he was beaten up by Texas cops for this? According to whom? Oh, just him? Surely he's not exaggerating to get his 15mins.

Video shows he put them all the eff over the place.. and on signs that are to warn drivers of hazardous corners and such.. he was just a punkass kid trying to cause shit.. If I saw him putting them on caution signs I might jump out and kick his ass myself

That sign is pretty useless since there is a stop light right after it. The posters didn't stop it from reflecting at night either. The signs were partially torn in a few days after posting.

Wow. So he wasn't put under arrest, but still cuffed and handled like an animal? That alone warrants the response "pigs".

On the subject of vandalism, he was retarded for putting it on traffic hazard emplacements, but I see people put posters up on light poles all the fucking time and nobody bitches about that.

Anyone who says this is about race or political party is a willingly ignorant dumb piece of taint. He's voicing his concern about how the country has been hijacked by oligarchical puppets.

edit: Somebody already say "truther" hahaha

He's a punk ass little martyr is what he is. He was caught breaking the law or local ordinances or whatever, meanwhile there's a million different ways to voice your opposition to Obama without running the risk of being arrested.

Remember those adult swim/aqua teen guys who were hanging signs of a little alien around major cities as part of a promotion for the show? Yeah, they got popped on terrorism charges.

Defacing public property can potentially get you in a lot of trouble. Period. Can't do the time? Don't do the crime.
