Well, I had an interesting drive home from Olivet today. Stopped there to pick up some spare parts from a friend for a client visit tomorrow and there were cops seemingly all over the highway. State and county. And they looked very p*ssed. I think they were after someone, but I haven't seen any news reports or anything. They had exits blocked in a few areas and what appeared to be setups for road blocks and spike strips. One cop blew by me, pulled into a cross over, stopped, then yanked an assault rifle and something that looked like a spike strip out of the trunk of his car and got in a ready position near the northbound lane.
Someone did something to tick these guys off. Rarely do you ever see a cop around here on the highway ever, and I saw like at least 12 cars in a 2 mile stretch of highway near where I-94 meets I-69. Anyone know what was up with that? Last time that happened they had 3 crazed idiots who had just robbed a Kmart at gunpoint and took some guns and ammo from the sporting good department.
