even if it's legal that they took pictures, which I'm sure it is (it's like coming to a party yourself and taking pictures).... the question is whether it's legal for them to do anything with it...

you can't prove anyone was drinking because there was no alcohol that I could see (I believe they hid the alcohol in a few rooms since it's illegal to serve alcohol at frat parties unless they get a permit for the party) and hell I wasn't drinking, nor did I even drink.

Ummm.... who the fvck let them onto the property? You know they could have been refused to enter without a warrant...

I'm pretty sure it's fine once they have a noise complaint or something, so they can break up the party.. we had like 300+ people in the house, and there's like 2 layers of lambda guys regulating people in... i'm pretty sure the cops were legally able to come in at that point.

No. Unless it's a matter of life-and-death, the police are NOT allowed to enter the premises unless they have a warrant.

Refusing to allow them to enter would have led to lots of arrests after they got the warrant electronically, in a few minutes, at most.

They may take pictures so they can check for underage kids later.

Whoops, didn't know that the frat was an Asian one. I don't go to college and I don't know anything about sororities and fraternities!

hmm, where i go to college underage drinking and such is completely tolerated, the campus cops often enter frat houses where it is clear many people are underage and they will not do anything unless a fight has broken out or more serious drugs are involved. Personally I think this is a good way to go about things, you only get in trouble if you do something stupid, not just because you are a couple years to young. Well anyways, i though California was really liberal so they shouldnt really care just becasue people were drinking underage?

Was this frat on campus? Also, if it is a registered frat with the school, there may be stipulations in allowing the frat to be apart of the school that allows police to enter at will.
