I don't know the whole story besides what is posted here and what the video shows. But if it's as bad as it looks, then I think he should be tried, found guilty, and a bullet put into the back of his head. Lord knows how bad he beats his wife.

So punching someone in the face is an executable offence. And you don't even know if the guy is married much less if he beats his wife.

You want to move to China? Even there I don't think they execute someone for hitting another person. Your position is bat shit crazy.

People in authority should be held to a much higher standards and when they break that trust that we the people bestow upon them, they should pay 10 fold. There is no excuse.

People in authority are still people. You don't execute someone because he punched someone in the face.

To get the guy to put his hands behind his back. It's a piss-poor technique at best. It's either bad training, bad policy, or just a bad decision on the cops part.

This is the first time I remember agreeing with you.

Trying to subdue someone by punching them in the head is extremely stupid.

Hopefully this sends the message that you should not be contributing to the decline of America by shopping at Wal Mart.

Did anyone read the update article?

First he tried to steal the cash behind the counter. Then he was asked to leave, and would not. Then he told people he had a bomb. Then the cop arrived and this...

At 1:14 pm, the first deputy arrived on scene and management was watching Sierad and began pointing to where he was. The deputy pulled in front of Sierad’s truck and as the deputy exited his patrol car, Sierad walked directly at the deputy and stopped only within a few feet of him. The deputy kept a knife secured on his uniform shirt around his chest area. Sierad reached for the deputy’s knife on three separate occasions while the deputy was attempting to calm him down and talk with him to determine what was going on.

Then the guy ran into the store. He said he had a bomb, and would not comply. The other cop is trying to roll him onto his stomach so they can put his arms behind his back. The guy is fighting it the whole way. I'm not one for ignoring an abuse of power, but it does not seem like one here. Read the article and it will put things in a different light.

I agree with you, no excessive force was used. Further look at the guy, who doesn't want to punch him in the face?

You're probably right. The conduct of the police officers should be judged based on the conduct of the perp. We can't expect the police to behave better than criminals.

When do we riot?

I'ma bout to go to the country club and break some shit. Steal a golf cart and make a run for the snack bar down by the 21+ pool. Take me some of that good sangria, you all know what I'm talking about. Then burn down the cabana so no one can use it anymore.

We gotta make a point that the police can't just beat up folk like this and that's the only way to do it.

My theory is that the worst bullies grow up to be cops, and want to participate in 'sanctioned bullying'. People rarely change their stripes.

Kind'a like how child molesters become priests, coaches and kindergarten teachers?

This police brutality is nothing new. We humans are animals, and we act like it ALL the time.

The advent of mobile cameras on everyone is quickly highlighting the global offenses we commit against one another, and for the first time in human history allowing true justice to shine. We are a mere generation away until the act of getting caught is common knowledge, and no one thinks they can get away with it.

The pen is mightier than the sword, and today the cell phone is mightier than the gun. We are a well armed society, with cameras, and soon we will all be polite.

Yeah. Punching people for no lawful reason isn't optional. All of us do it all the time. Why can't we just accept cops for the animals we are and get on with our lives?
