Coppermine Slot1 on Asus P2B-F ?

I have an older Asus P2B-F motherboard. I need to upgrade its CPU to something better than a Celery 366. The motherboard supports a multiplier up to 8x (100Mhz fsb). I was wondering if this board supports a Slot 1 Coppermine? I can get a 750 or 800Mhz SECC2 Coppermine for a decent price, but I do not want to waste my money if this chip will not work. Does anyone know if it will work?

Thanks!

Yes, it does work. Please do a search for my posts regarding the P2B-F....I have several on the issue.

If my posts cannot help you resolve your problem, please let me know and I will be happy to explain more fully.

I tried to do a search, but came up with nothing. Maybe I am doing it wrong?

Any info would be appreciated.

Thanks!
