This is kind of a technical question I guess as well.

I installed this and I like the way it works. However I am wondering if there is osme type of plugin that will allow more than 1 user to login and upload photos.

Like basically I want to have a gallery, where I as the admin, can create the categories.

Then I want users to be able to register and be able to login, and then add their own photos as well, keeping them in their own personal pages, but also adding them to the total gallery.

Does anyone know if something like this exists?

IIRC, coppermine already has this ability - no need for a plug-in. We have our website's photogallery set up that way - to allow others to post pictures. It's been a long time since I helped my wife set it up, however it should be "obvious" if you look in the right spot.

i used coppermine for about 3 months tell you the truth its JUST a gallery so i switched over to wordpress and post my photos on flickr and have them link to the flickr page so far works great and takes a LOT less bandwidth and space!

edit: here is the blog: www.inkedpaper.com if you want i can tell u my whole plug-ins folder

Well the thing is, I can manually add users as the admin of the site.

I want to have users be able to register on their own, and begin to post their own pics.

Oh wow heh thanks DrPizza.

I looked around a little bit harder and saw exactly where the option is to turn that on and it works.

Now I have one other question ...

Do you know how to rid of the "User Galleries" category and make it so users cannot create galleries of their own?

That, I don't know. It might be possible, but I haven't played with the software in a long time.
