Copper Shims

Are the copper shims for the t-bird worth the $10 ? I wont be takin on and off the hsf so frequently.

Depends on what you expect to get out of your $10 investment. If you're expecting cooling advantage, other than a heatsink sitting flat on the cpu, you're probably not gonna like it.

But if you're getting it to protect your cpu, then its a decision that's entirely yours to make. It may make you feel safer installing your heatsink.

doubt it, just be careful when you stick it on the first time

yeah becareful u get a dcent one too, some of them are too thick and could help fry your chip
