Would this be a good idea since t-bird is .18?
What would be best water cooling set up for t-bird & k7m?
What size peltier (watt)
 
The Thunderbird (at least in socket A form) seems to come with spacers, so a shim would be difficult to mount.

As for water coolers, lots and lots of them out now. Pick a good socket style system and use it.

Peltiers? The biggest you can power, as the AMD chips are still thermal units with transistors.
 
I'm currently working on a Socket A Spacer for the Tbirds and Durons. Should be available in 2-3 weeks.

If its a Slot A I would defenatly recommend it.
