Copper Durons are fakes.

The Register reports that fake (green) copper interconnect Durons are being produced by taking an aluminum interconnect (blue) chip and deliberately overheating it to produce the color change.

Well, considering that there are no copper Durons because all durons are made at the Austin, TX plant where there is no copper process...that report sounds right to me.

BTW, it would take a LOT of heat to change the color...sounds like transparent/green nailpolish or something.
