Copernic search removes Google

I'm not sure why they've done this, but it happened a few days ago. Without Google used as a search engine, Copernic is virtually useless for usenet searches, and almost as bad for Web searches.

It's unfortunate because it's been the only search tool I've used for years. If they don't put it back I won't be ponying up for the next version.

I won't relieve you of the chance to learn how to use a search engine.

Clearly Copernic is perfect for you.

Yes, their marketing department seems to have been on vacation for the last few years. Probably some dogpile type multi-engine search aggregator (it's more fun to guess than to fire up Google and find out 🙂 )

Ok, I have to admit that did give me a good laugh.

I use to swear by Copernic (had purchased it some time ago), but once google came into existance I sorta just wound up always using that. I wonder if the restriction was a google imposed thing or on the Copernic side?

According to your original post, no, it's not.

Well, it would be if they put Google back.

Google is so instrumental in searching the web, any tool without it is incomplete.

Why not just go to google.com?
