I am a 2x Afghanistan Veteran, Airborne Combat Engineer who was attached to a Special Forces Group my 4 years while on active duty. This guy has embellished his record and made himself to be something he was not. I have read his manifesto and it did pain me to see that he got fucked over when doing the right thing. Its a shame no one will remember him or his reasons after the media completely throws this under the buss and polishes it to make it fir their agenda. Kind of was rooting for this guy in a weird way.

You people are sick. Regardless of what you think of the police, or the LAPD specifically, this psychopath slaughtered four people, including two civilians, in cold blood.
The LAPD has killed far more than four innocent people over the years![]()
Not that I think Dorner was justified in any way by targeting innocents, or even choosing violence as his response. If he was as smart as he thought he was, he could have used the media and other means to further his goals much more effectively.
He wouldn't even be a blip on the radar if he tried to do it non-violently. Sad but that's the truth. No one would care about his story whatsoever, so he did what our society has shown is the best way to get everyone's attention.

Innocent is a relative term, every gov agency in every single country in the world has done the same. You know who LAPD did not kill? Educated working class people who are doing something with their lives and paying taxes that keep the world going and providing food and shelter for millions like you. Police is in charge of maintaining law and order. Nobody who was already following law and order and did not hate cops, were killed.
Coming from a 3rd world country, I know what bad cops and govt agencies can do, your statement full of bull.
LMAO, are you retarded, the LAPD shot at people without ID'ing them just for DRIVING A PICKUP TRUCK.

We don't know everything about that yet, hold your horses

According to information released by the police department via Facebook, Officer Michael Crain served in the Marine Corps in the late 1990s and early 2000s. He graduated from Redlands High School in Redlands, Calif. in 1996 and enlisted following a year of study at a nearby community college. He was hired by Riverside Police Department in August 2001.
Crain, 34, deployed twice to Kuwait, the deparment posted. He served with the 15th Marine Expeditionary Unit (MEU) and 3rd Battalion, 1st Marines. He was also a Military Operations in Urban Terrain (MOUT) instructor at Marine Corps Base Camp Pendleton, they said.
According to the department, Crains military awards and decorations include the Good Conduct Medal, Armed Forces Expeditionary Medal, Sea Service Deployment Ribbon with 1 star, Rifle Marksmanship Badge, and Certificate of Commendation.
During his enlistment, Crain attained the rank of Sgt., they said.

Haha, and you know this how, of their entire history? Hell they very nearly murdered two old ladies delivering newspapers just a week ago.
Even Rampart wasn't very long ago, and included a cop murdering another cop during road rage :

There are dozens of incidents over the years of course.
and none of this makes up for the fact that the d-bag from the OP killed 5 people.
We don't need to know everything, there are 3 explanations for what happened
1. they're incompetent
2. they're evil
3. they're both
If they had killed the 2 people in the truck, they'd be on "administrative leave" I wonder what it takes for a police officer to be considered a cold blooded killer. Because here they attempted to murder innocent people.
Yep, the standards need to be changed, as it stands police are almost never accountable for misconduct, and 'paid leave', in other words 'a free vacation while we wait for this to blow over' is typically the supposed 'penalty' for things that if a regular citizen did, would end up with them in prison.
