Highly intelligent person. Don't agree how he handles this situation but boy he exposed a lot of crazy things going on in the police force.
yeah people need to learn the facts. he was basically a whistleblower, who told the truth about violent sadistic fellow LAPD cops. everyone who knew him said good things about him. it sounds like he was basically a hero for telling the truth about fellow cops, but they ganged up on him to ruin him like the criminals they are

this case shows why assault weapons should never be illegal. someone has to be able to defend society against thugs like LAPD

#1 rule of being a cop is don't rat out another cop.

Usually after you serve your active tour of duty, you're put on reserve. So if you served for say, 4 years, then the next four after you get out, you're on reserve. He was in Iraq a few tours I believe.

Well, usually when people throw around the word reserves they mean they are in the reserves and not on inactive reserve (the time between you leaving active duty and finishing your 8 year commitment).

Discussion on FB regarding the shooting of the newspaper ladies, here are some replies by LEO's:

Lol,cops make mistakes like anyone else. Not all cops are perfect, good, etc but Next time you need help, dial 411,not 911

Unfortunately every job has some degree of disgusting politics to it- if people feel they can do a better job then those on the front line- show us- apply- put on the uniform and show us how its done; the easiest thing is to criticize and pass judgement- the hardest thing is to walk a day in their shoes- people will disagree with this post but that's the beauty of freedom of speech- God bless.

Agreed this is a very odd story, but I don't think there's any way they'll let him live. I feel like this guy knows something that certain police don't want exposed.

That is why he salted his letter with many clues for investigative journalists to track down.

How much evidence may get destroyed as CYA is another question.

I'm not a conspiracy theorist but I agree. He looks like a whistle blower on the run for his life. The LAPD is trying to make him look like a deranged killer. This guy must have passed numerous psych evals in his life and no one saw anything. :ninja: Strange:ninja:

And how do they mistake 2 Hispanic women for one large black man?

Am I the only one rooting for this guy?

Nope, they had sections of my town blocked off yesterday because they thought he was here. Every interview from someone who knew him said he was a super nice stand up guy. Life's not an action movie so I know he's not going to win, but I wish him good luck and hopefully some bad cops get exposed so his death doesn't end up being for nothing.

After reading his manifest I'm rooting for him, just not for the violence he's committed to. I don't have any experience or anything bad to say about LAPD, but the stories surrounding them are everywhere and never anything positive about the force. I just don't think termination of employment warrants all this violence.

You have a choice to do inactive reserves or just reserves, most choose the latter.

Is there solid verification that these murders really were his doing?

I don't care what he went through or what his plan is, but how can any one root for him if he's actively killing innocents?
