Course if I invented a car that could outrun the speed of radio I'd probably never have to worry about it because I'd be rich and could fly almost everywhere in my helicopter. 😛

I remember one slow night with nothing really happening on the radio. Just a typical Friday night. This guy gets pulled over because his stickers have expired. Officer radios in for a tow truck and a cab to take the guy home. Then the officer gets an emergency call that he must leave because there was a call of help that an officer was down a mile away. (Domestic dispute where a guy hit another officer with a baseball bat but that's another story--so much for a quiet night!)

About 15 minutes goes by and dispatch comes back because the tow truck is looking for the car and the taxi driver said there is no car or person to be picked up!

The guy just left, probably went home and got his stickers. That's all I know but it was funny hearing it come over the squawker. 🙂

It's true - and the comment about the Camaro or mustangs below - yeah they do pose more of a problem and I've seen some 5.0s used at radar traps on the outskirts of atlanta but I'm doing about 390 hp (est) at the flywheel, so unless the fuzz has something else under the hood besides the stock V8 he's still got his hands full when he flicks the lights and soon realizes he's bitten off more than he can chew.
