In the first year or two of 'Dukes of Hazzard,' Cooter was always dirty...

In the other years, Cooter was clean...

So, which one was best - Dirty Cooter or Clean Cooter?

He was dirty because he was a damn dirty pervert who was into bestiality. With male pigs.

Then Boss Hogg caught wind of what he was doing and threatened him with PMITAP. Cooter (a) stopped fucking pigs, and (b) became an informant telling Boss Hogg and Roscoe what the Duke boys were up to.

Eventually, the Duke boys found out and castrated him. He went and became a lady boy in Thailand. Died of syphilis.

These are the things the show left out. All was not so nice in Hazzard county. :Q
