i have a smc router, i have a w2k machine and a win98 machine, in w2k machine i can see my win98 machine but when i wana browse to it it doesn't let me, it says path not correct? am i missign something, thanx. oh, i already have both coupters under workgroup and both of them have sharing on.

Check your protocols. If the Win98 machine has NetBEUI installed and Win2K doesn't, they won't talk to each other.
