I just decided to finally enable Cool n Quiet to see if it would work and if temps would be lowered during inactivity. So I enable it in my bios, come back into windows, and my idle temps are now 7-8 degrees(celsius) hotter! Under load, I still only went up a few degrees so that was normal, but I let it sit for hours and it was just running hotter idle. I checked bios temps, temps in corecenter (which I know are wrong and display too high, but it still was 8 degrees hotter anyways), and temps on mbm5. I did also install the driver from the amd website that enables cool n quiet. I went back to the bios and turned it off, and sure enough, Im back at normal temps. This ever happen to anyone else? And why would cool n quiet raise my temps? Kinda counter productive....
