Coolling a AMD Athlon 64 4000+

So I've picked this:

PAPST 80x80x25mm (19db)
Swiftech MCX6400-V

To cool my 64but Athlon XP 4000+

Will it be enough?

I'm not even sure it will fit in the MSI Neo Platinum SLI motherboard... 🙂

Time will tell..

I'll be using Arctic Ceramique to grease it down... anyone familiar with this? pitfalls?

Yes, the stock cooler is a quality unit. Otherwise the Thermalright XP-90 or XP-120 would be a viable option.

Yes indeedy!

Swiftech is as good as it gets. Pricey but well built and performs second to none.

I'm a big fan of the Papst fans; They're incredibly quiet and move a surprising amount of air.
