My monitor looks like someone is shaking it from side to side. Looks kind of wavy at 85 hz, actually looks like someone is shaking it at 70 hz, but at 60 hz doesn't look so bad 🙂

I think my 10 year old no name (Percomp) 15" monitor is dying.. sniff..
 
or possibly an interference issue- try to keep stuff away from the power and signal cords, especially high power devices. (I.E., home stereo amp should not have the power cord anywhere close to the monitor's cords)
 
EMI 🙂 - make sure there is no electro magnetic devices around, that would certainly cause your screen to do that.
