Cooling

I just upgraded my CPU from an AMD 3200 to an AMD X2 3800 (Toledo) 939-pin. Initially I used the stock fan and to monitor the CPU temp I use Speed Fan. With the stock fan my temp starts of at 53C and when I burn CDs or do anything CPU intensive it goes up to 65C.

I went ahead and thought upgrading the fan might help, so I bought a Zalman CNPS9500 because of the excellent reviews I've read about it. Just installed it, and my CPU still reads at 55C.

I'd like to get your opinions and see if this could be just the thermal paste not settling yet? Should I give it some time and check the temps in 3 days or so? I would appreciate any incite anyone can share.
