Cooling System

Ok, so I've ordered a case and 4 Panaflow LIAs, 2 Panaflows are going to blowholes, the case has two predrilled fan spots, one down fron't, and one up by the processor. I had a great idea, what if I got some 80mm tubing and ran it from the intake at the front to the exhaust at the back, cut a 60mm square in the side of it, and lowered that portion all the way down over the alpha I have, so that the alpha has room temp air, but it would still have its normal fan pulling air in the most efficient manner, how would this work out? Seems to me that it would be a really slick setup, any thoughts?

Spot cooling, sounds like a good idea. To take that one step further maybe you can cut smaller holes along the main tube and insert smaller tubes and direct that air to other components as well? Let us know how it goes.
