I'm thinking of getting SLK-800 and make it work with a smart fan II. Does it make a good couple? Good performance? Any place to buy it online for Europe?
 
The SLK-800/900 coupled with the Smart fan II is prolly the best combo...

But if you are on a budget i would go with a Vantec AeroFlow, runs for about $22-25.. Keeps my 1700+@2.4ghz around 47-49C loaded on a hot day...

Well I nowadays have a volcano 11 with Smart fan II, so I only have to buy the HS. About the thermal compound, what about artic silver 3? Or is the stock compound of the volcano powerful enough?
