Cooling solution for Leadtek Ti4600, fan stopped!

I have a Leadteck Ti4600 Geforce 4 card in my sons machine. I need either a fan replacement or another cooling solution. Any help would be appreciated.

Regards,
Dominic

Thank you , but I am concerned that it does not list my card and "might work" can be money thrown out the window. Any other links or suggestions?

Dominic

IIRC the leadtek TI4600 had the same big ass twin fan HSF setup as the later Leadtek TI4800 models....it would be pretty hard to source a replacement for that card....you might be better off buying a new video card.

But with that said you might be able to screw a 80mm fan to the large HSF unit, it should provide enougth air flow over the heatsink to keep it cool.

I decided to try this : Titan TTC-SC03TB PCI Slot VGA Card Cooling Fan , which is a pci slot fan with an adjustable 80 mm fan. Thoughts?

Dominic

It would be easier and cheaper just to screw an 80mm fan to the heatsink....that should do the job fine, sure it wont be pretty but it's damn cheap.
