Cooling question...

hey,

situation :
[*] t-bird : 1.2 ->Win FOP38
[*] A7V133
[*] aopen HQ08

temp are right now around 59C for cpu and 37 for mobo
case cooling none besides power supply.

For those that are as dump as me,
those HQ08 case feet really need to be there!

yeah temp dropped about 2C with those feet on of course...

Anyway,

With a regular house fan blowing in case (panel half open)
temp's drop at 55C (cpu) and 30C (mobo) full load.

what i'd like to do is put 3 fans in.

see pictures for fan locations..

now i'm wondering what fans to buy
am currently looking at those delta fans (FFB-80 5700 RPM)

from what i've read here, i guess the front will blow in and the two
at the back blow out ok ?

Most important Q...

I've been looking all over,
but i have no idea what power connections those delta fans use ?
regular 4 pin connection like hd connections ?

btw, all temp's are mesured with asus probe.

Anyway,
tnx alot!

Regards,
Joachim

Definately add some case fans, and depending on how quiet/cool you want your case, decide which 80mm fan you want. Panaflo make a good quality fan that quiet, Deltas tend to be alittle louder.
Looks like you have the right idea, bring cool air in at front bottom, exhaust it out top rear. 2 exhaust fans and 1 intake will result in a "negative" pressure inside your case, 2 intake and 1 exhaust results in a "positive" pressure. The mood seems to lean towards having a negative pressure, the idea being that air is moving through your case, not sitting stagnent in it. Hope this helps...

aha tnx RustyNale,

actually i think i'll go for the delta's ...
since i'm prolly on of the few that actually likes the noice 😉

still wondering about those power connectors though anyone ?
now i think about if they are 3pin connectors i probably won't
have enough connections from my power supply for those.

You can buy 3 pin to 4 pin adapters to solve your power problem. Where ever you decide to order from will probably have them.
