cooling idea for 360

I notice that the rear grilles of my 360 get really hot when playing for a while. There's plenty of empty space and air, and my room is chilly this time of year. Would taking some pc case fans and sticking them to the back of the 360 help with cooling?

If so, which fans, what accessories do I need to plug them into a wall power source and should they blow in or out? Thanks.

There's plenty of after market coolers to strap on the back of the 360. Here's a comparison of some. I don't really think it would make much of a difference personally, but if you're interested.
