u have a concaved IHS on your C2D.

OR your AS5 skills need some major work.

If its the first, you need to either relap it, or send it in for RMA.

peace

AS5 = thermal interference media. its the silver or white stuff u need to apply on the CPU b4 u place the apogee.

IHS = the silver cover on your cpu that protects your DIE. C2D's have issues of the IHS concaving so Heatsink can not attack to it properly.

What radiator, with what fans?

What are your load temps for both

mmm... radiator is from cooltek.. however.. the temp for my processor rise steady eversince i use wc.. which i found it very strange.. with stock heatsink and when i overclock to 3.2ghz.. the idle temp would be 60 deg liao... but for the wc system.. when i on the pc.. i use core temp to measure by the way.. the temp would be 33 deg @ 1.86ghz.. and it would like rise to 60+++ in like an hour of son.. which made me start this thread...

thanks for all the help guys
