Cooling for this z77 board

So I am very close to finishing up buying parts I need for new build, just need Ivy CPU to come out but this has been the board I am seriously considering.

I am unsure what cooler to get for the CPU. From what I read it can be tight with certain coolers.

Anyone have any recommendations? Also would prefer something that is not super difficult to install.

I see that is very pupular but not it will fit with that mobo ? It looks huge

Try Xigmatek Gaia instead. It performs as well as the CM Hyper212+ and costs about as much. Having installed the CM Hyper212+ in the past, it can be a little bit challenging and it pivots due to the X bracket being used. I think the Xigmatek Gaia should be a little bit easier and the mounting mechanism would not allow it to pivot.

Thanks for suggestions.

What about the xigmatake Loki?

It looks like has a smaller footprint and I think easy to install?

I don't really need something huge I doubt I over clock much maybe to 4 ghz.

Too expensive when you consider that topping up a $1 gets you way better cooling potential. If you don't need that much, then get the CM Hyper TX3 instead. It is similar in size as the Xigmatek Loki but easier to install if you are used to the push pin mounting mechanism on Intel's stock coolers.

I wouldn't consider the heatsinks the size of the CM Hyper TX3 or Xigmatek Loki to be suitable for overclocking but a mild one shouldn't be too much of a problem. Also to note that 92mm fans on these smaller heatsinks are hard to come by and companies rarely makes them as opposed to the common 120mm fans.
